Production transmission monitors

What type of display is used for transmission monitors these days?
My lcd display has a pixel refresh rate of 8msec which is slow by crt standards. Horizontal moving captions are blurred unless slow moving and in some cases are unreadable.

For an in-depth answer to the question perhaps
this

Many thanks for the link. Lots of useful information but I have just gone round in a circle following the various references.
Section 5.9 seems to cover the pixel response time but not in the way I was hoping for.
I'll read the references more deeply and perhaps come up with the the current thinking about LCD versus CRT displays.

A quick "Google" search produces various commercial manufacturers' products which 'claim' to be "Production TV Monitors".
Perhaps they might answer your questions.
Some units may be found
here
and
here
.
Many others might be available, but these locations might answer the 'refresh' question.
Gone are the days when a "TV" was a "TV" which showed "TV pictures".
"Can the TV get BBC 2?" and "625 lines" was the limit, once.......
speaking personally, when my first "UHF" TV was turned on, it smelt differently. So, from that day to this, whenever I see BBC 2 I always think of 'that' smell.
