Transfer

Hi, I am still a BBC staff member, but have been looking at my pension provision recently. I want to ask people’s advice on whether I should transfer my AVCs - which I had to stop contributing to at the end of 2011, when we were forced out of the New Benefits scheme – to the BBC Lifeplan with Aviva. I joined the CAB 2011 in 2012 and still contribute to it. At the time, I also signed up to the BBC Lifeplan with Aviva to supplement CAB 2011, as I could no longer make AVC payments under the new system.
Does it make sense to consolidate my old AVCs with my BBC Lifeplan, which I and the BBC still contribute to?
Many thanks
Martin
