Chris Hainstock, on 19th January 2025, reported (via Facebook) ...

Many of you may remember former Chief Film Editor Ron Raddon, who has sadly passed away at the age of 95.

He was a very busy editor, particularly in the '70s and '80s, working on many programmes from Documentaries to Light Entertainment and music shows - Dear John, Terry and June, Little and Large, Duncan Dares, Adventure, Open Secret, The Jazz Scene, to name but a few.

Often seen wearing his obligatory bow-tie, he's been variously described as "a lovely, cheery man, always great company, with a great wit and able to fill a room with his laughter".

His funeral will be held on 10th February, at the Islington & St Pancras Cemetery, at 3.30 pm.  [278 High Road, East Finchley, London. N2 9AG]
