Peter Bolgar's obituary, taken from The Times ...

"George Peter Bolgar passed away peacefully on 31st January 2025, aged 89.

A member of The Horse Guards, the Royal Academy of Music, and a BBC broadcaster on both television and the World Service.

He is survived by his wife, three children and eight Grandchildren, who all have happy memories of their fun times together."

He made his final announcement on BBC 1 at closedown on 3rd August 1995.
